Count It might seem a simple application, but it is actually full of functions and useful for users who have to work with text documents and extract specific data from them. The interface of this utility is rather simple and mainly consists of a list with documents and in the left area, a sidebar with the main tools.
Count It works with a few file formats, such as RTF, TXT, WPD or DOC, but it manages to be fully compatible with them and provide accurate results of word counting. Files can be imported from a local disk, from a CD or they can even be marked as read-only. The app does not break passwords of protected files, but it can skip the file and work with the others that have been provided in a batch.
Count It manages to analyze multiple files in just a couple of seconds and the final result is ready to be written into a text file or sent via email. Invoices can also be created while having the certain file as a basis. For users that want to slightly edit the counting options, there are a few settings that target this element in order to better deal with lines, paragraphs and not only.
