FTP-Go is a Java based FTP client that allows users to quickly establish connections and transfer files between offline and online locations. The interface of this app is much simpler than that of other apps of the same type and users can keep themselves focused on the tasks they have to achieve. It is easy to start transferring files and all that needs to be done is to establish a connection.
FTP-Go requires the website’s address firstly and afterwards, users have to provide a username, a password and a connection port. A name is optional but it can be provided for management issues. This is because users have the possibility to save multiple sites and manage them later regarding new connections. The password will not be stored by default but users can change this option if they work in a secure environment.
FTP-Go quickly connects to the target and afterwards, it displays the contents of the website. Users can then start the file transfer with the drag and drop method and a download or upload bar will appear to keep them informed about the progress. A log file is automatically created during each connection so that users can read everything they need to related to a transfer.
