Peter’s Flexible Renaming Kit, also known as Pfrank, is an application designed to help users who want to rename their images on the computer and have to work with multiple of them at once. The utility is designed to be used with thousands of images at once as scripts make all of these possible. Before users load up their images or folders, they have to choose the task they want to accomplish from the main menu.
After this step is ready, users can add all of their images into the rename queue. They can start by using a regex in order to rename their files. The regex is a script designed within the application and it can be done in a number of ways. However, all of these elements are covered within the help file of the app so that everyone can create a script in order to automate the tasks that are required.
Peter’s Flexible Renaming Kit allows users to also schedule different tasks and have them accomplished when the computer is idle. The tool can be used through its classic interface but users can also switch to a command line interface in order to give commands to the app and have it running. Search and replace is another available function within the program.
