StartEd is an easily configurable application that can remove the strain of a system which has to boot up while also launching a number of utilities that might be of no use to the user. These apps automatically assign themselves the right to launch along with the system and they can easily make a computer stutter and take minutes to properly function.
StartEd provides a really simple interface with straightforward access to different useful features. Users are able to see a list with all of the processes and apps that run along with the system in the beginning. They can then edit these entries in order to benefit from a custom launch scheme with less tools involved, specifically, the useful ones.
StartEd can remove or disable user chosen applications in order to remove the strain on the computer. However, this process also has a reversal as users can add their own apps and make them start along with the system. For the disabled apps, the tool can create desktop shortcuts for easier access. Moreover, the app is also able to discover different trojans which might be added within the start up scheme and will quickly inform the user if such a dangerous app is found.
