WinISO is an application designed to work with ISO files and this tool can do various tasks that are required, whether it is about creating or extracting content from an ISO file. The tool is installed quite fast and its graphical interface is pretty simple and intuitive, as some of the main buttons are located in the upper area of the screen.
WinISO allows users to create ISO images by starting a new work project. Files can be dragged and dropped onto the interface and they will be queued for the ISO image. ISO images can be created by using local content from a hard drive but users can also access CDs, DVDs or even Blu-Ray drives and transfer their contents into an ISO image. And this process is backwards compatible, too.
Users can extract files from ISO images with the aid of WinISO. They can do this with locally stored ISO files or others that are located on a disc drive. ISO images can also be converted to other formats if the user needs to. With the aid of the utility, ISO images can be created so that they are bootable, this feature being useful for operating systems and recovery utilities.
